Domains, Web Hosting and Maintenance

Your website will be hosted in a fast and secure data centre in Sydney.

Our web hosting includes daily backups that are kept for up to 30 days.

In addition, if you subscribe to a maintenance plan, there are monthly backups kept for 3 months.

Yes, you can. You are more than welcome to request a login to your hosting account if you or your IT person needs access. We will then send you an invite that you need to accept, and you can log in to access your website files, database, SSL setup etc. You can also access the DNS settings if your domain DNS is pointed to our server. Contact us to request a login to your hosting account.

Yes you will own your domain names and be able to login to view and manage them in our domain name customer portal.

Updates include:

• WordPress Core updates
• Plugin and theme updates*
• Server software updates

Some plugins or themes may require separate licences for us to be able to access updates - we will discuss this with you when we quote for your website build, or when we review your existing website for suitability for our maintenance plans.

Additional costs may apply in the event that a plugin or theme reaches its end of life or is no longer supported, and we need to rebuild that functionality or build a new theme.

Our maintenance plan also includes:

• Technical fixes in case of any issues with your existing website functionality
• Security software to detect malware and keep your website safe from hackers
• Uptime monitoring in 5 minute intervals so that we are immediately notified of any downtime and can act quickly to get your website back up and running
• Monthly backups kept for 3 months
• Monthly reports to show you which updates have been applied

We can certainly update your text and images, but any content, design or functionality updates are not included in our maintenance plan. If you need regular content updates we can set up a plan for that, otherwise, you can send us your updates and we will charge for these by the hour.

We recommend Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace for your email setup. This is currently the standard for business email hosting. 

We don't offer Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace setup ourselves, however we work closely with a local IT provider who can help you with that. 

Provided you subscribe to our web hosting and/or ongoing website maintenance plans, we will be your first point of call should something go wrong with your website.
